Screen printing is the most cost effective printing process. The process of screen printing is more than just putting an image on a shirt. There is a lot of time and detail put into each order. Here's a look into how it works:
- Screens are made Once we receive your art proof approval, your artwork is carefully separated into colors with registration marks and output onto a film that is used to create the screens. For each color in your design, a screen (or mesh stencil) is made.
- Printing the garment Ink is applied and pushed through the exposed portions of the screens onto the apparel with a squeegee. This process is repeated for each color in the design.
- Drying the ink Once all of the colors have been printed, the garment is sent through a conveyor dryer to cure the ink onto the fabric. This process ensures the design won't crack, fade, peel or wash off.
- Quality checked After the ink is dried, we carefully inspect each item.
With every order, you will receive the best quality inks that will outlast the garment itself. Printing prices are determined by the garment color, ink color(s), and total quantity. To place an order, please fill out a Quote Request
below and an image of your design. We prefer color-separated and/or vector artwork (with fonts converted or included with your file). If that is not available, please send in the highest quality artwork that you have. Once we have received your request and artwork, we will contact you with a confirmation and payment authorization. We require a deposit of half for every order. If your order is being paid by the school, we would need a signed purchase order from the treasurer to start the order and payment would be due at pick up. Your order will be put on hold until all appropriate information is received.
Our minimum order is 12 pieces per design containing up to 4 colors. All 12 pieces must be printed in the same color(s) and with the same design.
Our standard turn around time is 7-10 business days from art and order approval. If you need an order done sooner, we may be able to meet your deadline. Please contact us or supply us with your latest in hands date when submitting a quote request.
If you need to add or cancel your order, please contact us right away. There are no guarantees that we can add or cancel the order. Once the order and payment is approved, we generally order the product right away. For cancellations, if you contact us before your order is printed, we may be able to stop the items from being printed and send those items back to the manufacturer (any restocking and shipping fees back to the manufacturer will need to be paid by you). For adding to your order, please keep in mind that this will delay your order and can only be done if your order has not yet been printed.
The maximum size we can print is 11" x 17". Art size depends on the smallest items on the order. If you have an order with Youth XSmalls and Adult XLarges, we can only print as large as the smallest size shirt will allow.
